Our Firm has a Long and Distinguished Real Estate Association with the Citizens of Roswell, New Mexico

Founded in 1956 by Ed Leslie as Roswell Home Planning, his focus was primarily on land development and home construction. Tommy Ansley superseded Leslie after his departure from Roswell and he directed his efforts to the marketing of resale residential properties and land development.

Under Tommy’s direction, Roswell Home Planning became a Century 21 franchisee in 1982, becoming CENTURY 21 Home Planning and continued successfully until it was sold in June 1991 to Steve W. Smith. The firm enjoyed healthy growth under Smith’s direction during the 1990’s, the major focus: Quality service and the growth of our sales force. CENTURY 21 Home Planning merged with another local office, First Choice REALTORS, in October 1996 further adding to our sales staff and improving our service to the community and their real estate needs.

CENTURY 21 Home Planning built a new modern office at 3117 North Main Street in 1996. Enlarged and improved facilities further enabled CENTURY 21 Home Planning to serve the growing real estate needs of our community. Another major step was taken in 1998 when CENTURY 21 Home Planning purchased and merged with Associated REALTORS of Roswell and nearly doubled the size of our sales staff.

In 2005, David Duer joined as an owner of CENTURY 21 Home Planning. He assumed full daily management of the company in 2007. Following his untimely death in November of 2014, CENTURY 21 Home Planning was sold to Starla Nunez and Riley Armstrong on November 1, 2015. Outgrowing their office at 3117 North Main St, they relocated to 400 W 2nd St in 2019. Together they mentored their team, imparting on them the expertise to best meet their customer’s realty objectives.

After a rewarding six-year partnership, Riley Armstrong assumed sole ownership on June 26, 2021. Innovation, expansion, and dedication to serving our customer’s is a driving force behind Armstrong’s newfound undertaking.
